Statistics Canada released Canadian recreational cannabis sales for the month.

(Note: As NS, Yukon and NWT have not reported in the past few months, I have held NWT and Yukon constant at their last reported month and used NS as a balancing entry to equal the Canadian aggregate.)
Daily purchase growth MoM for October 2021 decreased -0.6% to $11.7 million/day or annualized $4.3 billion. This is the first MoM decrease since May 2021.
Annual growth per month on YoY basis is $94 million. This YoY figure has been decreasing of late and decreased from $98 last month, $105 September 2021, $106 million August 2021, $117 million June 2021 and $126 million in May 2021. Sales growth is slowing on YoY basis since April 2021 this year.

Month Over Month $’s delta by Province:
Quarterly Trailing 3-month daily sales evidence a +10.4% QoQ decreasing from last month’s +11.6%, the second decline in seven months in August 2021.
Leading provinces by $ growth for the MoM:
Ontario +$4.2 million… that is 42% of growth for all of Canada
Alberta +$2.5 million
BC +$1.3 million
Quebec +$1.2 million
No other province was greater than $1.0 million increase.
