On the weekend Jim Rice posted a Google docs link to a document that he worked on with our input. The google doc compares each cannabis bill and how it relates to Federal Alcohol Administration Act.
Folks, this Google doc is a “bible” for investors as they look to interpret any upcoming legislation. The data elements that Jim has listed are the ones that impact operations and an effective roll out of US legalized cannabis.

We have seen numerous sell side carnies espousing why SRA is better than any other bill. But outside its 3% excise tax, leaving the TTB to determine permitting (eg. will they allow a federal permitted manufacturer to also own a federal distribution permit, when they do not in alcohol) and Trade Practices, the SRA actually codifies the import and exporting of cannabis. And if TTB defaults to FAA Trade Practices in cannabis, and bureaucrats default more than politicians, then the current vertical limited license models would be decimated and MSOs would end up with Hotdog Stands.
Now… think about this… The sell side carnies either KNEW about the SRA impacts and have not told their followers OR they don’t know because they have not done the work.
Which one is worse?
