Readers will know the impact COVID has had on companies and the release of their financials. This pandemic has altered the ‘normal’ state of daily life in many respects.
Security Commissions took the reality, and in this case, the Alberta Securities Commission installed a ‘blanket order’ which gives companies a 45 day extension to file. Straightforward.
GoBlue and I have been looking forward to Radient ($RTI) because it gives us a great peek under Aurora’s ($ACB) 2.0 hood.
Well, $RTI was supposed to release their 3rd quarter results prior to August 29th but they sought relief under the blanket, and will publish in mid-October. The oddity is that their year end is slated to come out September 13, and they’ve committed to hold that date.
So yes, a year end will be coming out a month prior to the previous quarter’s results.
It’s a little frustrating, but it’s the world right now. Just some errata for your Monday morning. I have a feeling that September is going to be a busy month in here as the extensions begin running out. Unless of course, they’re extended.
